Saturday March the 1st 2008 the band will be releasing their debut album at Cliffe Village Club with a
launch party gig. The 'Cliffe Terminal Club' on Chuch Street, Cliffe will see the band perform virtually the whole album and the album CD will be available to purchase. Tickets will be £4 and the gig will start at 7:30pm and finish at 12am. To obtain tickets contact the band via this website.

November 2007 - The band have been in 'Ranscombe Studios' in Rochester recording their debut album. The album will be titled 'On The Streets Today'.

British Litter are currently - once again - trying to arrange a local gig in Cliffe and preparing to record their debut album. Five new songs are in process of being completed in rehersals.

Thanks for the many, many people who turned up at The Beacon Court for the gig supporting Who's Who on Saturday the 3rd Feb. Judging by the response and the bands opinion, it was by far the best gig yet and was even more exclusive by their appearance of a popular Kaiser Cheifs cover.

The next gig is at The Command House Dock Road Chatham on Friday December 1st with possible support. 8.30pm start.

The MedwayLive Album was released on the 12th of November and the song 'Love Out There' is available to download on 'The Music' page of this website (You have to join to gain excess- it doesn't cost anything!).

British Litter are to appear on the forthcoming Medway Live Album due to be released soon. A live version of 'Love Out There' will be on the CD. It is hoped the CD will be released by the end of October 2006. More details will follow.

Old News

The next gig is at The Command House in Dock Road, Chatham on Wednesday the 19th July. £3 OTD,. Starts 8pm. The Sawdust Ceasars will also be playing. This gig is being recorded for possible inclusion on a local compilation album.

The Beacon Court gig turned into a solo acoustic night for James, as James had damaged his arm the night before 'playing indoor highjump over cd's'. The night went well and the other two James' watched the gig from the crowd.

Thanks for all those that turned up at the Tap n Tin - we got to see the list of punters and we had more there than any of the other bands playing - considering we were first on, we were well pleased with the turnout - thanks again! The gig was a gooden and weve been asked back to play again sometime soon.

Bar M gig: The Bresslaws a certainly one of the best Mod Bands weve heard in the Medway towns for a while.

New gig date confirmed: Bank Holiday Weekend SUNDAY evening 30th April The Beacon Court, Gillingham. More details to follow. Also currently under discussions for a proposed gig at the Tap'n'Tin, Chatham. More details to follow. In addition, the band hope to do another Cliffe gig in the very near future.

The next gig is confirmed for Bar M New Road Chatham for Thursday 2nd March. 9pm-10pm Approx.
Also possible gig yet to be confirmed at The Beacon Court, Gillingham Wednesday 8th March. More details to follow shortly.

Unfortunately the band have had to CANCEL the forthcoming Holloway Road gig.

CLIFFE GIG DETAILS: Saturday the 2nd of April @ Cliffe Village Terminal Club located between Cliffe Memorial Hall and the Play Park on Church Street, Cliffe. Follow the B2000 from Strood/Frindsbury.
Doors Open 8pm

There will not be any support band but there will be music before and after the band play.

The aim of this gig is to raise enough money to go into the recording studio.

CLIFFE GIG: Saturday the 2nd of April, the band play at The Village Terminal Club. This will be a ticket only event - details will follow very soon.

Two new tunes were aired at the Bar M and Manor Club January gigs:
1. Flying Through The Sky
2. Written On The Wall
At present, the band are recording their own demo CD with the help of Big Hairy Colin, which will include the new songs. No gig dates confirmed at time of writing, however, it looks like April will be the when the band play in Cliffe.
Look out for the surprise new sound of British Litter in their Latin American influenced new song- 'Mexico'. This may be included on the forthcoming demo CD.

British Litter are to play at 4pm on the Sunday 16th Jan Charity Gig.
In addition to the Friday the 14th of January Bar M gig, the band have offered to play at The Manor Club Tsunami Earthquake Disaster Charity Gig on Sunday the 16th of January. Several bands are lined-up to play and the event starts at 12:30pm and finishes at 10:30pm. More details to follow soon.
Next gig now confirmed at Bar M Chatham 14th Jan 2005 at around 8pm.

The band are currently trying to organise a Christmas Gig in Cliffe. More information will follow soon.

After the successful Bar M gig, British Litter have confirmed that they will next be playing downstairs at Bar M on Saturday the 23rd of October. There will be four bands playing and it will be open to 2am. More details will follow soon.
